Bengaluru Crime News: A shocking incident has happened from Silicon City Bengaluru, where the protector became the eater. A CID inspector, posing as one of his gang, threatened a group of people from Kerala staying in a hotel in Madiwala and looted Rs 20 lakh from them. Inspector Mahesh Kanakgiri is said to be the mastermind of this entire robbery, who has absconded since the incident. Many police teams have started searching for him.
According to the information, the businessmen from Kerala were staying in a private hotel in Madiwala with money for business. Inspector Mahesh Kanakgiri had received accurate information about this. He planned the robbery along with four others including Harris, Kupendra, Shapi and Shani. As per the plan, an official CID police jeep was parked in front of the hotel and the inspector was sitting in it. Two members of his gang entered the hotel room.
He showed the inspector's official identity card to the traders and threatened them by saying that they have brought money for illegal trade. Later, the robbers snatched away Rs 20 lakh in cash in a very clever manner. After this, they all fled in the police jeep parked outside the hotel. The victimized businessman was very scared at first, but when he came to know about the fraud done to him, he reached Madiwala and lodged a complaint against the accused.
Understanding the seriousness of the matter, Madiwala police immediately started investigation. Kupendra, a member of the dacoity gang, was arrested in a search operation that continued throughout the night. On interrogating the arrested accused, the shocking truth came to light that the real mastermind of the robbery was CID Inspector Mahesh Kanakgiri. Immediately after Kupendra's arrest, Inspector Mahesh Kanakgiri and three other accused absconded. At present, the police have seized the CID jeep and the search for the four accused including the absconding police officer has been intensified.
