The results for the Bihar B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (CET-BEd) 2026 has been declared. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now download their scorecards from the official website,biharcetbed-brabu.in. This year, Himanshu Ajnabi from Vaishali and Vivek Kumar from Katihar jointly secured the top rank, both scoring 117 marks. Among female candidates, Anjani Kumari from Sitamarhi topped the list with 116 marks.

With the declaration of results, the online counseling process is set to begin. Candidates will be required to submit their college preferences within the specified dates, based on which seat allotment will be conducted.

**Male Candidates Dominate the Top 10**
According to the released merit list, the top 10 candidates comprise six males and four females. Priyanka Paswan from Begusarai also performed impressively, securing 116 marks. The exam was conducted on June 7 at 180 centers across the state, with 112,440 candidates participating. In the 'Shiksha Shastri' course results, Ramdev Kumar from Madhubani secured the first position with 104 marks, achieving the top rank in this category.

**Choice Filling from the 20th to the 23rd**
According to State Nodal Officer Prof. Sanjay Kumar, the online counseling process will commence following the result declaration. Candidates will be able to select their preferred colleges from June 20 to June 23. They can opt for a minimum of three and a maximum of 10 colleges affiliated with any university.

**Rs 3,000 Fee Required to Secure a Seat**
Colleges will be allotted based on the merit list. Upon being allotted a seat, candidates must secure it by depositing a counseling fee of Rs 3,000. Failure to complete the admission process within the stipulated time will result in the automatic cancellation of the seat. This year, 123,327 candidates applied for the B.Ed. entrance exam, while a total of 37,250 seats are available across the state. Consequently, there is a competition of approximately three candidates for every single seat. Pataliputra University offers the highest number of seats at 6,400, while admissions will take place for 6,200 seats at BRA Bihar University and 6,000 seats at Magadh University.
