Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to run special programs across the country in the memory of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder and first national president of Jan Sangh. On the instructions of party president Nitin Naveen, a circular has been issued outlining a comprehensive campaign in the memory of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee from his martyrdom day today till his birthday on 6th July.
This campaign lasting 15 days Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee The name of Jayanti Smaaaran Paksha has been given. The special thing is that this year is being celebrated as the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Mukherjee.
It is clearly instructed in the circular that Any intersection, park or road in every town and city should be named in the memory of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
Along with this, the statue or portrait of Dr. Mukherjee can also be unveiled.
Special and strict instructions have been given in the circular regarding West Bengal. According to the letter, “A plan should be prepared especially for the installation of statues in every town and city of West Bengal.” Since Bengal has been the birthplace and birthplace of Dr. Mukherjee, the party wants to further strengthen its ideological roots through his statues, paintings and roads and parks named after him in every district and city there.
Wreaths at booth level: There will be a wreath laying program at all the booths on 23rd June or 6th July in the presence of committee members and primary members. A decorated portrait of Dr. Mukherjee will be installed there and a short speech on his life and national service will be given.
Events in major cities: Big programs will be organized in major cities like Kolkata, Delhi, Ambala, Pathankot, Jammu and Srinagar.
Student Conferences in Academic Centres: Under the leadership of Yuva Morcha, student conferences will be organized outside the educational campus in major educational centers of the country (like Thrissur, Tiruchirappalli, Dharwad, Pune, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Patna etc.).
Tree Plantation Campaign: In view of the activeness of monsoon, tree plantation campaign will be conducted effectively at every booth.
Formation of Committees: For the smooth functioning of this program, a team of 5 members (with a senior worker coordinator) will be formed in each state, a team of 4 members in each district and a team of 3 members in each division.
Round of meetings: State level virtual meetings will be held on June 20 and district level meetings on June 21 and 22.
The circular said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is known as a pioneer in nation building, awakening the consciousness of cultural nationalism and a symbol of the integrity of India. It is specifically mentioned in the letter that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the historic work of realizing Dr. Mukherjee's dream by abolishing Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir has been done. Through the glorious history of its founders, the party is trying to inculcate pride and self-respect for the nation among the workers and the public.
The responsibility of coordination and operation of this entire countrywide program has been entrusted to a high level group of 7 senior leaders at the national level. Through this comprehensive action plan, BJP is not only paying a grand tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, but is also preparing to take his name and ideas to every home across the country and especially in Bengal.
