There is a ruckus in Trinamool Congress after the defeat in the assembly elections in West Bengal. From the legislative party to the parliamentary party, there has been a split. After the party's defeat, Abhishek Banerjee is facing internal and external attacks. He is being considered the reason for the break and defeat in the party. Now the rebel group has raised questions on Abhishek Banerjee's air travel.
Abhishek Banerjee Spent around Rs 15 lakh on a chartered flight, which costs Rs 15 to 20 thousand to travel in business class. That flight has already been criticized. However, statistics of the last few years show that no regional party has ever spent more on chartered flights than Trinamool.
According to the audit report of Trinamool, Trinamool Congress has spent Rs 141 crore on chartered flights in just 4 years. Most of this was spent on Trinamool's All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee.
That means overall, Trinamool spent around Rs 141 crore. According to the information, no other regional party in India has spent so much money. That is, Trinamool has practically made a record on this. This information is available from 2021. Accounts of previous expenditure are not available. The question has arisen that where did so much money come from?
The thing to note is that the leaders supporting Mamata Banerjee are also raising this question. Kunal Ghosh also said, if this is party money, then I do not support it. BJP MLA Sajal Ghosh jokingly said that Trinamool could have bought an entire plane with the money spent on chartered flights.
Let us tell you that recently there is a ruckus in Trinamool Congress regarding funds. After the complaint of rebel MLAs, Rs 440 crore of three bank accounts of TMC have been frozen. A complaint was made to the police that Katmani's money was in these bank accounts, although TMC has announced to challenge it in the court.
