Everyone now does all transactions online, through UP. Many people use wallets of payment apps. Recently, Phone Pay informed that those who do not use the wallet for a long time will have to pay 100 taka for inactivity maintenance fee. Today, there are a large number of customers who used to use Wall but now pay directly from their bank accounts. Naturally they are not happy. But do you know how to save this charge in your hands?

What exactly is the matter? After the debut of Phone Pay, many people used to make all payments from the app’s wallet. App has been updated later. All have started direct bank transactions. As a result, the wallet is no longer used. According to the company, if there is no financial transaction in the phone pay wallet for 365 days, then the account is considered ‘inactive’. After that the organization can deduct 100 rupees as maintenance charges. Many people think that UPI payments are being made, so why should I pay the fee? Note that UPI has nothing to do with wallet-centric payments.

How to avoid fees?

At least once a year a transaction must be done through the wallet
Add money to wallet
Using wallet money to make purchases or pay bills

According to Phone Pay, the company will notify the matter 15 days in advance before deducting any fee. If there is more than 100 rupees in the wallet, they will deduct the entire amount. And if there is less than that, they will simply zero the balance. This will not result in any outstanding or negative balance burden on you.
