Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly willing to meet Marcus Rashford’s wage demand of £325,000 per week, as per reports from the Sun.

The Premier League side, based at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, have been closely following the Manchester United forward in recent weeks, and a potential summer transfer may be on the horizon.

Rashford, who spent the previous season on loan at Barcelona, appears unlikely to feature in Manchester United’s long-term plans.

Tottenham are among the clubs keeping tabs on the England international’s situation, and indications suggest they are prepared to make a significant financial offer to secure his signature.

Currently, Rashford earns £300,000 per week at Manchester United, but his salary is set to rise to £325,000 per week next month following the club’s qualification for the UEFA Champions League.

The North London outfit are ready to meet those wage terms if Rashford decides to join them, although no final decision has been made yet, as the forward might prefer a move to a team competing in European competitions.

Over the past 18 months, Rashford’s wages have largely been covered by Barcelona and Aston Villa during his loan stints with both clubs.

Manchester United management reportedly believe that Bruno Fernandes, their current Player of the Year, should remain the club’s highest earner following Casemiro’s departure.

It is still uncertain whether the Red Devils would permit the 28-year-old to leave on another loan deal.

While Barcelona are open to a temporary arrangement, Tottenham could be well positioned to secure the player if Manchester United insist on a permanent transfer.
