A case of land related scam has come to light in Ghaziabad-Delhi, in which people have been defrauded of crores of rupees in the name of housing society. However, in this case, ED's Lucknow zonal team has raided several places on Thursday. This action was taken under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The financial victims said that the people of the company had promised a new flat, in return for which they took everything under their control by getting the documents related to the land signed.

According to the ED investigation, in this fraud, Sandeep Singh, promoter of Shrasth Propbuild Pvt. Ltd. and officials of Seva Suraksha Cooperative Housing Society are accused of cheating the members of the society.

Cheating under the guise of giving new flat

The accused made the members surrender their rights on the land in the name of re-development of about 41,544 square meters of land in Akbarpur Baharampur area of ​​Ghaziabad. In return for which they were promised new flats. But, investigation revealed that the accused had misused the development rights and sold the society's land and flats to third parties.

Illegal earnings worth crores of rupees have been made from this. At present, the ED team is collecting documents and other important evidence related to money laundering during the raid. At present, further action is still going on.

This month, Ghaziabad Police has arrested 10 people in a land fraud case. An officer of the Government Revenue Department is also involved in this case. This fraud included fake identity cards, false claims of land ownership and attempts to illegally sell land worth crores of rupees.

This case was registered on the complaint of a resident of Sector-15A, Noida. He alleged that a group of people conspired to fraudulently claim ownership of his ancestral agricultural land in Arthala village in Ghaziabad. According to the complaint, the value of this land with multiple Khasra numbers is said to be several crores of rupees.
