Electric Scooter: Indian two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor has achieved a big milestone with its popular electric scooter TVS iQube. The company has announced that it has completed production of 1 million units of iQube at its Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu. This achievement reflects the growing popularity and customer confidence of TVS in the electric two-wheeler segment.

TVS iQube was launched in the Indian market in the year 2020. Since its launch, this electric scooter has received an excellent response from customers and a new record for its production has been made in about 6 years. This achievement reflects iQube’s strong position in the Indian electric vehicle market.
TVS iQube is full of features
Many modern and smart features have been provided in TVS iQube, which make it special in its segment. The scooter gets a 17.79 cm full-color TFT touchscreen display, which has features like Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Apart from this, it is also provided with LED headlight, parking assist, music control, call and message alert and 32 liters of under-seat storage, which further increases its utility.

TVS iQube has a BLDC hub-mounted electric motor, which generates peak power of 4.4kW and peak torque of 140Nm. The scooter has an IP67 rated battery pack, which provides protection against water and dust. It takes about 3 hours to charge its 3.5kWh battery variant from 0 to 80 percent. According to the company, this scooter is capable of giving an IDC range of up to 145 kilometers once fully charged. Its top speed is 78 km/hr.

The starting ex-showroom price of TVS iQube in the Indian market is around ₹ 1.15 lakh. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of its top variant goes up to ₹ 1.72 lakh. There may be slight variation in prices in different cities and states. TVS iQube is currently one of the most popular scooters in the electric two-wheeler segment and completing the production of 10 lakh units is being considered a big proof of its success.
