The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) is set to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) today in Jaipur. The meeting is expected to cover around a dozen significant agenda items, including proposals for increasing daily allowances for domestic cricket players, the construction of new cricket stadiums in Jaipur and Udaipur, the appointment of an ombudsman, and various administrative reforms.
This meeting is considered crucial for the development of cricket in the state, focusing on player welfare and the organizational structure of the RCA.
A key agenda item for the meeting is the proposal to increase the daily allowance for Rajasthan's domestic cricket players.
If approved, this increase would provide greater financial support to players participating in competitions such as the Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and other domestic tournaments.
The AGM will also revisit the construction projects for RCA cricket stadiums in Jaipur and Udaipur.
Initiating these projects would enhance modern cricket facilities in Rajasthan and pave the way for hosting national and international matches in the future.
The meeting will consider proposals regarding the removal of the current ombudsman or the appointment of a new one.
This decision is viewed as vital for ensuring transparency, administrative accountability, and fair resolution of disputes within the organization.
Beyond the scheduled agenda, other significant topics may be discussed with the approval of the RCA president.
These proposals could relate to the organization's future, financial management, cricket development plans, and administrative reforms.
