**Results accessible via Application Number and Password**
JNU has stated that candidates can view their results online. To do so, they must log in to the official website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in. During the login process, candidates will need to enter their Application Number (as mentioned on their admit card), password, and the captcha code displayed on the screen. Subsequently, their result will appear on the screen, which can be downloaded and saved for future reference.
**Admission based on CUET PG 2026 scores**
This year, admission to postgraduate courses at JNU is being granted entirely based on performance in CUET PG 2026. The university has clarified that, in addition to the marks obtained in CUET PG, eligible candidates will also receive the benefit of 'Deprivation Points' in accordance with the university's admission policy. It is worth noting that the CUET PG 2026 results were declared on April 24, 2026. Merit lists for various postgraduate courses at JNU have now been prepared based on those results.
**Reading the e-Prospectus Before Admission is Mandatory**
The university has advised all candidates to carefully read the official e-Prospectus before participating in the admission process. It contains detailed information regarding eligibility, seat availability, reservation policies, course-specific conditions, and other essential admission-related details. Reviewing this will ensure students face no difficulties during counseling and admission.
**JNU Releases Revised Admission Schedule**
JNU has also released a revised admission schedule for Postgraduate and Advanced Diploma of Proficiency (ADOP) programs. According to the university, the admission process will continue until August, with opportunities for admission to vacant seats available even in the final round. The online application process took place from May 25 to June 15, 2026. Subsequently, the first merit list was released on June 23. Pre-enrollment registration for candidates included in the first merit list was scheduled from June 23 to June 25.
Following this, the second merit list and the list for supernumerary seats will be released on July 1. Candidates selected in the second list will be able to complete the pre-enrollment process from July 1 to July 3. Physical document verification will take place from July 7 to July 14. Thereafter, a final opportunity for admission to the remaining vacant seats will be provided from July 20 to July 22. The university will release the final merit list on July 28. Candidates selected in the final list will be able to complete pre-enrollment from July 28 to July 30. Physical verification for the final phase will be held on August 3 and 4, while the deadline for admission and registration has been set for August 7, 2026. The university has also stated that the entire admission process will be concluded by the first week of August.
**What to Do After Appearing on the Merit List?**
The university has clarified that merely appearing on the merit list does not guarantee admission. Selected candidates must complete the pre-enrollment registration and deposit the admission fee within the stipulated time.
