Former Pakistani actress and entrepreneur Komal Aziz Khan has shared details about her decision to move out of her family home and begin living independently, opening a discussion about personal freedom and changing social attitudes in Pakistan.

She stated that she does not allow societal expectations to influence decisions regarding marriage or her future plans.

She said girls should stand up for their right to make decisions about their own lives and should not feel compelled to follow traditional expectations if those expectations conflict with their goals.
