India is playing today at Belfast to draw the series against Ireland after being defeated in the first. There, on June 28, Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh was seen disappointed at his fellow teammate Harshit Rana for messing with Ross Adair's catch.
In the very first ball of the third over, Adair tried to flick a length ball. But he got a thick edge guiding the ball over the keeper Ishan Kishan's head. Both Kishan and Harshit Rana aimed for it.
Rana, who was running behind, was supposed to find it difficult. Had it been a catch at all, it could have been Kishan's, as he was gloved.
Instead of letting Kishan go for it, Harshit gave his all but got tangled, and the ball bounced to the boundary. Following that, Arshdeep was seen visibly frustrated, gesturing with his fingers. Replying to that, Harshit gestured that he could not hear Ishan Kishan's call and went for it.
Arshdeep Singh bags Ross Adair on next ball
The life Ross Adair got in that ball could not help Ireland much. Arshdeep Singh got him in the very next ball.
Arshdeep bowled a hard-length delivery in the very second ball of the over. Adair went for a shot towards the covers. But Tilak Varma took an easy catch, ending Arshdeep's dismay.
