2 raw bananas
2 tbsp rice flour
1 tablespoon gram flour
1 tsp red chillies
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp coriander-cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp
A pinch of asafoetida
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
Oil for frying

First, wash the raw bananas and peel them. Then cut into thick round or long pieces and boil gently for 5 to 7 minutes. Drain the boiled pieces completely and let them cool.
Mix together rice flour, gram flour, red chillies, turmeric, coriander-cumin powder, garam masala, ova, hing, salt, lemon juice and coriander in a bowl. Make a thick masala by adding one or two teaspoons of water if necessary.
Add the banana pieces to this masala and mix gently so that the masala gets well on each piece. Allow the masala pieces to marinate for 10 minutes.
Heat a pan and leave some oil on it. Place the spiced banana slices in a single layer on the pan. Shallow fry on medium flame until golden and crispy on both sides. Add little oil as needed.
Serve the prepared raw banana slices hot. You can serve it with green chutney, curd or plain rice.
