The news of divorce of actor Gaurav Khanna and wife Akanksha Chamola has shocked fans. After almost 10 years of marriage, both of them have decided to separate, and Akanksha had recently revealed about this. Now, for the first time, Gaurav Khanna has given a public response on this issue.
Gaurav said, “The love is still the same and my support is the same. I will always stand by her. She is my wife. I have loved her, so how can I leave her?” His statement has won the hearts of many fans.
Along with this, Gaurav also shared his first social media post after the divorce announcement. Posting some photos from his vanity van, he used the hashtag #LoveAlways. He also appeared in front of the media in Mumbai with a smile and greeted the fans by waving his hand and also showed the heart sign. However, he refrained from commenting on the reasons behind the split. Meanwhile, Akanksha Chamola revealed on the show ‘Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa’ that the two have been living separately for the past one year. She said that there is no quarrel or bitterness between the two and they still communicate with each other today.
Later in the episode, Akanksha opened up more about their relationship and said that they took this decision as their goals in life were different. While Gaurav wanted a child in the future, she did not want to accept motherhood. Due to these different views, both of them realized that they are not suitable for each other as life partners. However, she clarified that even after deciding to separate, the two still have mutual respect and intimacy.
