On Friday, former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar underwent an angioplasty at a private medical facility in Jaipur, according to hospital officials. He was initially admitted for routine health assessments at a hospital located near Jawahar Circle.

After conducting cardiac tests, the medical team recommended angioplasty, which was successfully carried out later that day. Reports indicate that this procedure was part of a scheduled cardiac evaluation.

Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot paid a visit to Dhankhar at the hospital to check on his condition. Gehlot mentioned that Dhankhar was receiving care from renowned cardiologist Dr. Sameen Sharma, who had traveled from the United States for this purpose.
