People are registering their protest from the streets to the social media regarding the statement given by a woman named Nazia Ilahi. Meanwhile, sharp reactions have started coming from political circles also. Samajwadi Party’s senior leader and former block chief Engineer Iqbal has taken a tough stand on this entire matter and has demanded to immediately send the accused woman to jail.
In fact, ever since this statement came to light, an atmosphere of tension and resentment is being seen at the local level. People in Moradabad and surrounding areas are extremely hurt by the fact that deliberate attempts are being made to hurt religious sentiments. SP leader Engineer Iqbal Said in clear words that such cheap and controversial remarks cannot be tolerated at any cost.

He directly targeted the ruling party and alleged that people like Nazia Ilahi were actually people promoted by the BJP. The SP leader said, “Whatever she has said in honor of our prophet is extremely wrong and condemnable. The government should take immediate action against the woman who spreads such hatred and send her behind the bars immediately.”
According to local people, anger is rising among various sections of the society after this controversial comment. This statement is being condemned by holding meetings at various places. People say that in the name of freedom of expression, no one gets the right to insult others’ religious beliefs and Prophet Mohammad. Police and administration are also being appealed to take strict legal action in this matter so that the atmosphere and peace of the area is not disturbed.
