The real TMC war has intensified in West Bengal. The group led by Ritabrata Banerjee has captured the party office in Kolkata. On which Mamata Banerjee's group has expressed displeasure and protested against it. However, due to tension, security has been increased outside the party's Metropolitan State Office located at EM Bypass in Kolkata. CRPF and Kolkata Police have been deployed outside the office. This development has created a new stir in the politics of the state.

According to the information, CRPF and Kolkata Police were deployed outside the office after the rebel group led by opposition leader Ritabrata Banerjee claimed to have captured the headquarters. The rebel group along with senior leaders Firhad Hakim, Javed Khan and Akhruzzaman entered the party office located at EM Bypass. This office is considered to be the main center of TMC's activities from the year 2022.

Rebel group's claim

The rebel group claims that the old lease of the building had expired and now a new lease has been made in the name of their working committee. The rebels changed the signboards of the office and also put up banners declaring senior MLA Arup Roy as the new president in place of Mamata Banerjee.

'This is our party office'

MLA Akhruzzaman said, 'This is our party office and it will remain our party office only. The key to the main gate will remain with us. Along with this, he also said that he respects the pictures of Mamata Banerjee in the office, but does not accept the leadership of Abhishek Banerjee.

Outcry in Mamata Banerjee group

This dramatic coup created immediate anger in the camp loyal to Mamata Banerjee, leading to senior leaders taking to the streets and filing a police complaint. Senior leaders of the party condemned this action of the rebel group and strongly targeted it.

attack on central government

Senior leader Madan Mitra made a direct attack on the central government, alleging that the CRPF reached the spot within minutes to act as a shield for the rebels. He said, 'At least one lakh offices of our party in Bengal are currently closed and our members are facing harassment, hooliganism and police attacks. No one from BJP went for his security. Mitra alleged that the rebel group was working in collusion as the B-team of the saffron party.

'The party will not tolerate this forcible occupation'

Meanwhile, TMC leader and senior lawyer Biswanor Chattopadhyay said that the party will not tolerate this forcible occupation. He said, 'The expelled members forcibly entered the party office to carry out illegal activities. Mamata Banerjee's symbol and face is inscribed on this office. All India Trinamool Congress is identified only by its face.

'Will fight in court and public court'

Here, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee launched a scathing attack on the rebel leadership and termed the opposition as criminal infiltrators. Banerjee gave a direct warning to the dissidents and said, 'Just because some goons have formed a party, should we accept it? You have started the game, but we will end it. We will fight this battle in two places, in the court of law and in the court of public.

Keep an eye on the Election Commission's decision

Kolkata Police has said that it will check the ownership and lease documents of the building before allowing regular political activities. However, the real fight has now shifted to Delhi. The Election Commission has directed both the Mamata Banerjee faction and Ritabrata Banerjee faction to present their organizational claims on the party's name, election symbol and funds by 5:30 pm on July 6.

A day earlier, the rebel group had filed a petition in the Election Commission in Delhi, claiming the name, funds and 'Joda Phool' election symbol of the 28-year-old party. Now everyone's eyes are on the decision of the Election Commission, because it will decide who is the real owner of TMC which is in power in Bengal.
