Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin on Saturday handed over the target to the organization while giving an election message for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections from Lucknow. In the first meeting of state officials at the party headquarters, he said that the bugle for the 2027 assembly elections has been sounded. Now is not the time to show power, it is time to go among the people and win their trust.
He said that elections are not won by big processions and gathering of crowds. Workers and officials will have to go door-to-door, listen to people's problems and make efforts to solve them. Winning the hearts of the people will be the biggest strength of BJP.
Nitin Nabin advised the organization to work with team spirit and said that instead of wasting energy in mutual differences and conflicts, there should be political competition with the opposition. He said that the full strength of the organization should be used against the opposition, because elections are not far away.
In the meeting, he also targeted the opposition and said that the workers will have to break the narrative with facts by going among the public and trying to create a narrative against the BJP and the central government. It is the responsibility of the organization to take the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government to every home.
The National President directed all the state officials to visit the areas and districts under their charge every month. He said that constant communication and coordination will have to be maintained with the workers and officials at the district level. State Working Committee meeting will be held in the first week of August, after which District Working Committee meeting will be held compulsorily every month in every district.
Describing law and order and development as a big achievement of the BJP government, he said that the identity of Uttar Pradesh has now changed from One District One Mafia to One District One Product. Also claimed that in nine years, lakhs of youth have got government jobs without any recommendation, which the workers should convey to the public.
Before this, a grand road show of the National President took place in the capital. Thousands of workers participated in the 18 kilometer long road show from the airport to the BJP state headquarters. Various social organizations, communities and BJP fronts welcomed him all along the way. OBC Morcha garlanded a 25 feet long garland using a crane. Clergymen were present along with women and men of the Muslim community in the road show.
