UP Weather Today: The weather in Uttar Pradesh will be completely under the influence of monsoon on July 5, 2026. Cloud movement will continue across the state and light rain or thundershowers may occur at many places. However, humidity can also bother people in some districts. Today the sky will be cloudy at most places in the state. There are chances of light rain and thundershowers at some places. The temperature may increase slightly during the day but due to clouds there will be relief from strong sunlight. There will be more moisture in the air, which will make you feel humid.
There will be mixed effect of clouds and light rain in western UP today. The temperature can reach up to 35 degrees in Agra and Meerut but the movement of clouds in between will provide relief. There are chances of light rain in Bareilly, while the heat may be felt a little more in Hapur. Overall the weather here will be calm but humid.
Monsoon activity will be clearly visible in central UP. There is a possibility of light rain in Lucknow and Kanpur which will make the weather pleasant. There may be rain with thunder in Prayagraj, while there will be clouds in Ayodhya and sometimes there may be showers. The temperature here will be between 32 to 36 degrees.
The weather in Purvanchal will be a little hotter and humid. There are indications of light rain in Varanasi and Ballia, but there will be clouds in Gonda and Basti but the rain will be less. The temperature here can reach 34 to 39 degrees, due to which both heat and humidity will be felt.
There is a possibility of light rain with thunder in Banda today. The day will be cloudy and the temperature will be around 35 degrees. The weather may become a little cool in the evening.
Rain activities may increase further in UP between 6th to 8th July. There will be light to moderate rain and lightning in many districts. However, there is no possibility of any major weather alert at present. Overall, the weather will be mixed in Uttar Pradesh today. At some places there is light rain and at some places there is movement of clouds. Heat and humidity will persist but monsoon showers will also give some relief to people.
