A public interest litigation has been filed in the Supreme Court against objectionable comments on Prophet Mohammad. On Monday (July 6), the court has refused to hear this petition soon. The court asked the petitioner to first contact the police officers and have faith in the system. The court will intervene only when the authority does not take action as per the law.

The bench of Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah and Justice Sheel Nagu gave this order. The bench refused to immediately list the PIL of AoR Ansar Ahmed Chaudhary. This matter was presented before the Supreme Court today by lawyer Rajat Kumar. He said that comments made against Prophet Mohammad could lead to communal unrest.

demand for early hearing

In fact, a demand was made for an early hearing in the Supreme Court on the PIL filed regarding alleged objectionable comments against Prophet Mohammad. The lawyer on behalf of the petitioner said that this matter can affect the communal harmony of the country.

'Trust the system...'

On this, Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah said that first the procedure available under the law should be followed. He asked the petitioner whether he had filed any case? He said that police is present. Trust our system. Justice Amanullah said that the Supreme Court is the biggest court and its role is to monitor.

Justice Amanullah said that this is also an opportunity for us to see whether our lower level officers are working or not. He said that if everything gets short-circuited here, they will also give up and this is what is happening. He said that all the institutions are derailing because everything comes from the top.

'Don't sensationalize things'

Justice Amanullah said that this is a serious matter and I agree with you. He said, 'If I talk about myself, I am very sensitive about it, but there is a process also. If that doesn't work, come to us. In sensitive matters, you are first and foremost a citizen of India, you should understand its consequences. He told lawyer Rajat Kumar, 'You are a lawyer, you understand the consequences. Don't sensationalize these things.

He said that if the concerned authorities do not take action then the Supreme Court can be approached. He said that if any person has violated the law then strict action should be taken against him as per the law.
