Lillian Droniak, better known to her five million TikTok followers as “Grandma Droniak,” shared a video on June 11 claiming that her nursing home had sent her an official warning over gatherings that violated facility rules, People reported.

The letter said: “We are reaching out because there have been many noise complaints about your room. Parties are not allowed and you cannot serve alcohol to other residents. This is a safety concern.”

While management encourages residents to socialize, loud gatherings are prohibited, it said. Security camera footage showed several guests leaving Droniak’s room at 1 a.m. Administrators warned that people who continued breaching curfew could lose access to common areas or have their tenancy reviewed altogether.

Responding to the warning in a viral video, Droniak appeared unfazed and said she intended to continue hosting late-night gatherings.

“I could do what I want. I pay $12,000 a month to live here. I could party if I wanna.”

She posted another video showing a martini on her dressing table, saying the management could not stop her from enjoying herself during the final years of her life, on June 12.

Responding to media inquiries, Droniak’s representative said the matter had been settled. The home agreed to let her continue hosting guests late into the evening, on one condition: the alcohol had to stop.

Droniak, who has been posting on social media since 2019, moved into a nursing home in June 2024 after breaking her leg in a fall. She has lived there ever since, regularly sharing videos with her millions of followers about life at the facility.

She celebrated her 96th birthday in March.
