This news is not just about a tree, but about the thinking that makes difficult tasks easy. Climbing tall palm trees is not an easy task. Their height is so high that sometimes one cannot even see their top properly while standing from the ground. But in many areas of Tamil Nadu and South India, these trees are a major source of income for thousands of families. Fruits, juice and other products are extracted from these trees, for which one has to climb them daily. For years, people have been climbing these tall trees without any special protection and relying only on their experience. But with increasing age this task is no longer as easy as before. To solve this problem, a farmer adopted a method which is now being discussed everywhere.
Dinakar, a farmer living in a village in Tamil Nadu, has installed strong iron stairs on his date palms. At first glance this idea may seem simple, but for the people whose livelihood depends on these trees, it is no less than a great convenience. Now the need to risk one's life to climb a tree is not the same as before. With the help of these stairs, even people with less experience can reach the top very easily.
As soon as the video of this unique arrangement surfaced on social media, people liked it very much. Many users called it not a desi jugaad but an excellent and practical solution. It can be seen in the video that iron stairs have been firmly installed along the trunk of the tree. With their help, children, youth and elderly people can also climb up comfortably. It is being told that these stairs have been installed up to a height of about 55 feet, due to which it has become very easy to reach the upper part of the tree.
There is also an emotional reason behind this unique experiment. Dinakar's family has been associated with the Palmyra industry for several generations. His family has a long history of work related to date palms and palmyra trees. His father also continued to earn his living for the family by climbing these trees for years. But as he grew older, it became difficult for him to climb such tall trees every day. The fear of falling had also increased and a small mistake could turn into a major accident.
Seeing his father's problem, Dinakar decided to think something different. He decided that if climbing the tree was becoming difficult then why not change the way of reaching the tree. After this, he started installing strong iron stairs on the trees of his farm. After this change, his father started climbing trees more safely than before. Not only this, when other people of the village also saw this system, they also started understanding its benefits.
Dinakar spent around Rs 60 thousand in preparing and installing these stairs. At first glance this amount may seem high, but he believes that this is a one-time investment, the benefits of which will last for many years. The risk of accidents will be reduced, work will be done faster and even elderly people will not have to leave their work. According to him, this expense will be easily covered with time.
