Tension has once again increased in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). According to the latest reports, two youths have been killed in the firing by security forces in Shubazabad area, protests have intensified after the incident and the protesters have made serious allegations against the security agencies of Pakistan and the government sitting in Muzaffarabad.
In the statement issued by the protesters, it was said that the security agencies of Pakistan and the government of Muzaffarabad are responsible for the death of the two youths killed in the firing.
The statement alleged that the remains of the bodies of those killed in the violence that took place a month ago have still not been handed over to their families, while the government is ignoring the entire incident and is busy in political activities and election preparations.
The statement also said that the blood of the martyrs will be accounted for and this incident will not be forgotten. Appealing to the people to be fully prepared for the movement, the protesters said that the ultimatum given to the government has expired and the next phase of the movement will be announced soon.
The leaders associated with the movement called upon the supporters to continue the struggle. He said that no matter how many obstacles come, the movement will not stop and the protests will continue till their set goal. At present, there has been no official reaction from the Government of Pakistan or security agencies regarding this incident. There is tension in the area and security arrangements have been tightened.
