Under this scheme, eligible students will receive financial aid ranging from ₹75,000 to ₹1.25 lakh per year to cover educational expenses.

Students belonging to OBC, EBC, and DNT categories are eligible for this scheme. The applicant's annual family income must not exceed ₹2.5 lakh. Additionally, the student must be studying in Class 9 or Class 11 and meet the scheme's eligibility criteria.

Students in Classes 9 and 10 will receive assistance of up to ₹75,000 annually, while those in Classes 11 and 12 will receive financial aid of up to ₹1.25 lakh. This amount can be used for tuition fees, books, hostel charges, and other essential education-related expenses.

The deadline to apply online for the PM YASASVI Scholarship 2026 is August 31, 2026. Eligible students are advised to apply well in time rather than waiting for the last date.

For selected students, the scholarship amount will be transferred directly to their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Therefore, it is crucial to provide accurate bank account and Aadhaar details while applying.

To apply, first visit the National Scholarship Portal and complete the OTR (One-Time Registration) process. Then, log in, fill out the PM YASASVI Scholarship application form, upload the necessary documents, and submit the application.
