Uproar in Jabalpur’s St. Aloysius School over allegations of religious conversion, activists of Hindu organization broke the glass windows.

There was a tense situation at St. Aloysius School in Jabalpur on Tuesday afternoon when a large number of Hindu organization workers reached the school premises. In fact, the protesters alleged that some Hindu employees working in the school were being pressurized to convert. In protest against this allegation, the workers demonstrated outside the school and in the campus. In fact, the police already present at the spot tried to stop them from going inside, after which a scuffle started between the two parties.

In fact, there was also an incident of vandalism in the school premises during the protest. According to eyewitnesses, some protesters broke the glass windows of the school. As soon as information about the incident was received, additional police forces from several nearby police station areas reached the spot and took the situation under control. At present the situation is said to be normal but this entire matter is being investigated.

Know why this demonstration took place?

At the same time, workers of Hindu organization say that they had received complaints from some employees of the school. It is alleged that pressure was being put on the employees for religious conversion and those who were not ready for this were being threatened with removal from the job. Based on these complaints, about 50 activists reached the school and started protesting. However, these allegations have not been officially confirmed yet.

In fact, the police say that the matter is being investigated impartially and the statements of all concerned parties will be recorded. On the other hand, maintaining law and order during the incident has been the priority of the police. The atmosphere remained tense for some time during the protest but the situation was brought under control after the arrival of additional police forces. The administration has also made it clear that only after the investigation is completed, it will be clear how much truth is there in the allegations.

Further action will be taken as per law

However, after the incident, Cantt, Gora Bazar and Gorakhpur police stations have increased the security of the entire complex. In fact, police officers ousted the protesters from the school premises and brought the situation back to normal. After this, additional police force was deployed in the school premises and surrounding areas to prevent any other untoward incident. In fact, after the protest was over, representatives of Hindu organizations said that if such complaints come up again in future, they will protest again. Police officials say that the law will work in its own way and no party will be discriminated against. If the investigation finds evidence of any illegal activity or damage to public property, legal action will be taken against the people concerned.
