According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple may organize its annual launch event on September 8 or 9, 2026. The sales and first delivery of the new iPhone are likely to start from September 18, 2026. But the company has not yet officially confirmed these dates.
It is being said in the leaks that the flat-edge design and triple rear camera setup will remain intact in the iPhone 18 Pro. But the rear panel may be more premium and seamless than before. Also, the camera module is expected to be slightly larger while due to the larger battery and better cooling system, the phone may also be slightly thicker than before. Along with this, if we talk about colors, this time Dark Cherry can be the new signature color. Apart from this, colors like Light Blue, Silver and Dark Gray can also be seen.
Information has also emerged in the reports that Apple’s new A20 Pro processor will be available in iPhone 18 Pro which will be prepared on 2nm technology. With this, a big improvement can be seen in the phone’s speed, gaming, battery backup and on-device AI performance. Not only this, this time the biggest upgrade can come regarding the battery. Regarding which it is being said that there is talk of getting a battery of up to 5,500mAh in iPhone 18 Pro Max. The 48MP triple camera setup may remain intact in the camera system but there is a possibility of getting variable aperture, better telephoto lens, new image sensor and 24MP front camera.
Regarding the features, reports have also revealed that Apple’s manufacturing costs are increasing due to the 2nm chip, bigger battery and new camera hardware. In such a situation, the starting price of iPhone 18 Pro in India can reach around Rs 1,39,900 and the price of iPhone 18 Pro Max can reach Rs 1,54,900. However, no price has been officially confirmed by the company before the launch.
