The future of society smiles when daughters hold pens in their hands," stated Dhirendra Singh, the MLA of Jewar, during the inauguration of the newly established Government Women's Degree College on June 16, 2026. He addressed the students, parents, and local residents present at the event.

MLA Dhirendra Singh emphasized that "today marks not just the opening of a college, but the beginning of a historic chapter that will give wings to the dreams of the daughters of Jewar. This achievement is a result of the visionary leadership of Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is committed to providing accessible higher education to every daughter, empowering them to become self-reliant and educated. The Chief Minister believes that an educated female population will lead to a more prosperous and confident future for Uttar Pradesh and India as a whole."

He further noted, "For years, daughters from Jewar had to travel long distances for higher education, which often hindered their progress due to various challenges. With the establishment of this Government Women's Degree College, that barrier has been removed. The registration process for students has commenced today, and the college will be affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut."

According to MLA Singh, "Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has witnessed unprecedented advancements in education, women's safety, empowerment, and basic facilities. This Government Women's Degree College in Jewar exemplifies that developmental vision and the spirit of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.'"

He shared that "for the current academic session, the college has received approval for BA courses in Hindi, English, Education, Sociology, History, Sanskrit, Economics, and Home Science. This college was sanctioned in 2019 under the Prime Minister's Jan Vikas Programme (PMJVK) and was inaugurated by the then Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma."

MLA Dhirendra Singh encouraged the students by stating, "This college is not just a place for education; it is a platform for realizing dreams. Pursue your studies with dedication, discipline, and hard work, and bring pride to your family, community, state, and nation."

In conclusion, he remarked, "When the government's vision, society's trust, and the daughters' determination come together, a new history of development is written. This Government Women's Degree College in Jewar is a powerful symbol of that new history." On the first day of its inauguration, the enthusiasm for higher education among the daughters of the region was palpable.

On this occasion, MLA Dhirendra Singh personally registered several students, including Dolly (daughter of Mahesh from Govindgarh), Monika (daughter of Kuldeep from Kanigarh), Saniya (daughter of Mustaqeem from Jewar), Priyanka (daughter of Jagbir from Bhagwantpur), Monika (daughter of Lokesh from Jewar), and Dimple Kumari (daughter of Bhojram from Jewar). He also ensured that their admission fees were paid from his own resources.

The department has appointed Dr. Gajendra Singh, Dr. Sugat Chandra, and Dr. Ajay Kumar Yadav as assistant professors at the Government Women's Degree College, Jewar, along with Savita Kumari, who holds an intermediate qualification.
