logcat.ai Bags $2.5 Mn To Build AI Platform For Android, Linux Engineering

Enterprise AI startup logcat.ai has raised $2.5 Mn (about ₹24 Cr) in a pre-seed funding round led by US-based seed stage investor Founders’ Co-op.

The round also saw participation from Act One Ventures, TheFounderVC, Shorewind Capital, Clayoquot Capital and Alumni Ventures.

The fresh capital will primarily be used to expand the startup’s engineering team by hiring up to 10 specialised roles and enhancing its AI platform’s capabilities. A portion of the funds will also go to bolster its research and experimentation, cofounder and CTO Tarun Vashisth told Inc42.

Founded in 2025 by former Esper engineers Varun Chitre and Vashisth, logcat.ai is developing an AI platform that can automate Android and Linux device engineering, an area of software development that typically requires expertise across multiple layers of an OS.

Its flagship product, Delta, analyses system traces across Android and embedded Linux, identifies the root cause of software issues and recommends code-level fixes. The platform is designed to support the entire operating system engineering lifecycle, from diagnosing bugs, validating fixes and assisting with system builds.

logcat.ai argues that AI can help engineering teams resolve system-level issues more quickly and accelerate the launch of products ranging from smartphones and robots to airport kiosks and other connected devices.

The startup claims that Delta has analysed more than 10 Bn lines of trace data and completed thousands of autonomous investigations.

Headquartered in Seattle, logcat.ai is targeting hardware manufacturers and claims to already serve a few paying customers. After a beta programme that was used by around 400 to 500 developers, the platform has shifted its focus to enterprise customers.

The development comes as companies increasingly use AI to streamline operations, improve efficiency and lower costs. As AI matures beyond chatbots and coding assistants, companies are building specialised models to cater to complex workflows.

Investor appetite for AI startups continues to remain strong. Earlier today, Inc42 reported that AI-powered sales intelligence startup Reo.Dev raised $11.3 Mn in a Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital to expand its presence in the US and accelerate product development.

Yesterday, Emergent entered theunicorn club after raising $130 Mn, while Sarvam crossed the $1 Bn valuation mark following its latest funding round last month.

India’s AI market is forecast to reach$126 Bn by 2030, including more than $17 Bn from generative AI. Wider adoption across industries could add up to $1.7 Tn to the country’s GDP by 2035.
