Pradosh period has great importance in Pradosh fast. On this Pradosh fast, the time of Pradosh Kaal is being attained on 26th July. In such a situation, the second Ravi Pradosh fast of July will be observed on Sunday, 26th July.

Ravi Pradosh puja auspicious time(Second Ravi Pradosh Vrat july 2026 Puja Muhurat)

According to Drik Panchang, the auspicious time of Pradosh Kaal for worshiping Lord Shiva on the day of Ravi Pradosh on 26th July will be at 07:16 in the night. This auspicious time will last till 09:21. On this day, devotees will get 02 hours 05 minutes time to worship Shiva.

Worship method of Ravi Pradosh fast (Ravi Pradosh Fast Puja Method)

  • On the day of Ravi Pradosh, before the start of Pradosh period, take bath and wear clean and light colored clothes.
  • After this, meditate on Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati in the home temple or Shiva temple.
  • First of all offer pure water and Ganga water on Shivling.
  • Then do Panchamrit Abhishek with milk, curd, honey, ghee and sugar.
  • Offer Belpatra, Dhatura, Aak flower, white sandalwood, ashes, Akshat and flowers on Shivalinga.
  • Offer fruits and sweets to Lord Shiva.
  • After this, light incense and lamp and chant Shiv Chalisa, Mahamrityunjaya Mantra or Om Namah Shivay Mantra.
  • At last perform Aarti of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.
