Two important meetings of the Trust are going to be held on Wednesday in the case of theft of Ram temple offerings in Ayodhya. The first meeting of the executive of the trust will be held at 3 pm at Ram Janmabhoomi complex and after that the second meeting will be held at Maniram Das Cantonment. This second meeting will be held at the residence of Trust President Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. The most important decision in this meeting of Ram Mandir Trust will be on the appointment of CEO. The process of selection of the first Chief Executive Officer i.e. CEO of the temple will be completed. According to sources, the three-member search committee has shortlisted three names and now one of the three candidates will be selected as CEO.
Whoever will be the CEO, it will be his responsibility to oversee the administration, financial system and devotee services of the temple. According to reports, retired bureaucrats, people associated with the corporate world and Ram devotees had applied for the post of CEO. At the same time, the three-member search committee for the election of CEO includes retired Justice Pramod Kohli, retired Lieutenant General Vishnukant Chaturvedi and former NIT Raipur director Suresh Haware.
Preparations are also underway for the reorganization of all the five major committees of the Trust. There is a possibility of changes in the finance and audit committee. In fact, after the offering controversy, emphasis is being laid on strengthening administrative and financial monitoring. At present, the Chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee is Swami Govind Dev Giri, while the Chairman of the Construction Committee is Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Administrative Committee is Krishna Mohan and Chairman of the Religion and Trust Committee is Mahant Nritya Gopal Das.
A decision will also be taken on filling three vacant trustee posts in Ram Mandir Trust. Two posts have become vacant after the resignation of former Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Anil Mishra, while the third post has become vacant after the death of Trustee Vimalendra Mohan Pratap Mishra. The resignations of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra were accepted in the trust meeting on July 6.
It is also possible to discuss the SIT report of the offering theft case in the trust meeting. On June 13, the UP government had constituted a three-member SIT to investigate this matter. This SIT was given a deadline of July 15 to complete the investigation. However, later the deadline was extended again. At the same time, after the suggestion of the Supreme Court, it is possible to discuss the investigation related to the new SIT, while the security arrangements of the temple will also be discussed in the trust meeting.
Before this meeting, many senior members of the Trust have reached Ayodhya. These include Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri, Vishwa Tirtha Prasannacharya Vasudevanand Saraswati and Interim General Secretary Krishna Mohan. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Mahant Dinendra Das termed the news of his removal from the post as baseless. Mahant Dinendra Das' big statement came out on the news related to Nirmohi Akhara, in which he reiterated the claim of support of 13 Panchas. In the Akhara meeting on July 5, he denied the news of his removal and said that there are a total of 19 Panchs in the Akhara, out of which 13 Panchs are in his support. He alleged that some judges of the Akhara were conspiring against him.
