UP’s daughters struggle: Government is giving free scooty to go to college

A very good and big good news is coming for the girl students of Uttar Pradesh. With the larger objective of promoting higher education of the daughters of the state and making them completely self-reliant, the Uttar Pradesh government has made a big announcement of starting ‘Rani Lakshmibai Scooty Scheme’.

This important scheme has got the green signal in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Under this special scheme, absolutely free scooters will be provided to the eligible girl students of the state, so that they can continue their further studies without any hindrance without any transportation or road hindrance. The government clearly believes that this unique initiative will give a new impetus to the education of daughters and it will be much easier for them to reach colleges and other remote educational institutions safely. The main objective of this scheme is that promising girl students from economically weak and poor families can also get equal and better opportunities for education.

The benefit of Rani Lakshmibai Scooty Scheme will be given mainly to those eligible girl students who are originally permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh and fully fulfill all the eligibility criteria set by the government. Complete and detailed information about the eligibility, family income limit, minimum educational qualification and all other conditions required for this scheme will be made public only after the official notification of the state government is issued.

What is the complete process to apply?

The process of applying under this scheme has been kept very easy. Applications for this will be started either through the official portal decided by the government or through their respective educational institutions of the girl students. While applying, all the girl students will have to safely submit some important documents such as residence certificate, identity card, certificate of educational qualification and other required documents.

What is the main objective of this ambitious plan

There are many big and positive objectives hidden behind this scheme of the government. First of all, its objective is to encourage faster higher education of girl students so that they do not leave their studies midway.
