Vastu Tips: House is considered the center of happiness, peace and positive energy. But many times, some of our daily habits and some common items kept in the house create such an environment, due to which we start feeling stressed, uneasy and disorganized. In Vastu Shastra, it is believed that keeping some things in the wrong place can affect the energy balance of the house. At the same time, from the scientific point of view, many things affect health and hygiene. In such a situation, if these things are kept in an organized manner, the environment of the house can be made better.
Having medicines scattered in the house not only increases chaos, but is also not considered auspicious as per Vastu. Always keep medicines organized in a first aid box or designated cabinet. This makes it easier to find them when needed and makes the house look neat and clean.
Acids, toilet cleaners and other strong chemicals should never be kept out in the open or accessible to children. Always keep them in a closed cupboard or safe storage. This also reduces the risk of accidents and unnecessary chemical odor does not spread in the house.
Strong smelling cleaning products can make the home environment uncomfortable if left on for long periods of time. After cleaning, immediately close these products and keep them in the designated place. Use alternatives with less chemicals if possible.
It is not considered safe to leave sprays and chemicals that repel mosquitoes, cockroaches or other insects outdoors. Keep them in airtight packing away from the reach of children and pets.
Instead of using excessively bright lights in every room, use balanced lighting. Too bright light can strain the eyes and make them feel uncomfortable for long periods of time.
Many artificial air fresheners contain chemicals whose strong scents may not be comfortable for everyone. Use of camphor, flowers, incense or aromatic plants can be a better option for natural aroma in the house.
If there is excessive collection of plastic bottles, cans and bags in the house, sort them out from time to time. Wherever possible, increasing the use of glass, steel or copper utensils is considered more useful.
If the coating of non-stick utensils has started peeling off, their use should be stopped. In place of such utensils, good quality steel, iron or other safe alternatives can be used.
In Vaastu Shastra, it has not been considered appropriate to store spoiled or unusable items in the house for a long time. Such items increase chaos in the house. Keep the house organized by removing unnecessary things from time to time.
Keeping every item in the house at its proper place, this small habit can change the atmosphere of the entire house. Regular cleaning, proper ventilation and organized storage make a home feel more comfortable and positive.
If you want to maintain a clean and quiet environment in your home, have a separate cabinet or storage box for chemical products, medicines and other potentially dangerous items. Also, keep removing unnecessary items from time to time and allow natural light and fresh air into the house. Measures to Vaastu are a matter of personal belief, hence while adopting them, it is important to keep in mind safety, cleanliness and scientific approach.
