Saanvie Tallwar has shared why she chose not to file a police complaint after alleging that she was assaulted by her Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum co-star Karan Kundrra during the shoot of the television show. The actress, who recently levelled serious allegations against Kundrra, claimed that producer Ektaa Kapoor stepped in after the incident, offering her support and helping her continue working on the project. Tallwar also admitted that taking legal action at the time could have severely impacted her career.

Saanvie Tallwar has opened up about why she did not approach the police after alleging that she was assaulted by actor Karan Kundrra during the filming of Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the actress said producer Ektaa Kapoor's intervention played a major role in her decision not to pursue legal action.

Explaining her decision,   said, "Many ask why I didn't file a complaint. (It's) because Ektaa texted me and met me after the incident." She said that the producer supported her, due to which she went back to working on the show. "That was why I didn't file a complaint against him for assaulting me," added the actress

She also admitted that she feared taking the legal route at that stage of her career.

"Professionals aise hote hain, if I would have taken the legal route back then, career khatam ho jata," she said, adding that while she chose not to file a complaint, she has never forgiven the actor and has not gotten any closure on the incident.

Her latest remarks come days after she made allegations against Karan Kundrra in an interview with Filmibeat, claiming that an incident occurred while they were shooting a scene for Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum. According to Saanvie, the scene required Karan's character to kiss her before her character slapped him. However, she alleged that the actor kissed her before the director had called "action."

Questioning the actor's actions, Saanvie alleged that he kissed her without her consent. The actress further claimed that after she slapped him as an immediate reaction, Karan later returned and slapped her hard. She said that the impact caused her to fall to the floor and claimed that he also verbally abused her and her family.

Saanvie also alleged that no one on the set initially came forward to support her.

However, she also added that producer Ektaa Kapoor later apologised to her on Karan Kundrra's behalf and helped make the working environment more comfortable so that filming could continue. The actress additionally claimed that the show's director was replaced following the incident.
