Manchester United are said to be keen on signing Palmeiras wonderkid Eduardo Conceicao.
As per Globo Esporte, Manchester United have already spoken with the player’s representatives over a possible transfer, and it is still unclear whether they will be able to land him in the coming seasons.
Conceicao is only 16 at present, and he will not be eligible to move to Europe until he turns 18 at the end of 2027. As a result, the Brazilian club is in no hurry to sell him right now.
When they eventually choose to part ways with him, they are expected to demand about €50 million for the youngster. There is no question that the 16-year-old is a gifted player with a promising future, but that valuation is very steep for someone who is yet to prove himself.
It will be worth watching whether clubs like Manchester United decide to step up their interest in the near future. A move this summer looks unlikely, and the Red Devils are expected to keep tracking him over the next few months before making their move at the right time.
Conceicao is a young footballer with significant potential, and with the right coaching, he could grow into an important first-team player for Manchester United. The club have a strong record of developing young players over the years, and they could help the 16-year-old realise his huge potential at Old Trafford. Joining a Premier League club would be a major chance for the youngster, and it remains to be seen how the situation unfolds over the next few months.
Other leading European clubs such as PSG and Barcelona are also keeping a close eye on his situation.
