Huge disaster in next 14 hours! Winds will blow at a speed of 80 and there will be torrential rain, IMD’s red alert issued

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued a very serious warning regarding the extremely active monsoon activity in many states of the country. During this period, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain, severe thunderstorm, lightning and extremely strong winds, due to which normal life may be affected.

Next 14 hours very dangerous, big warning from weather department

According to the latest and updated bulletin of IMD, the next 14 hours may prove to be very sensitive and dangerous for many states of the country. During this period, the situation of bad weather and heavy rains can become more severe, regarding which the administration and the general public have been advised to be completely alert.

Storm will cause devastation at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour

The Meteorological Department has clearly stated in its warning that in some selected areas the wind speed can become stormy and reach up to 80 km/hour. Due to these high speed winds, the risk of large-scale uprooting of trees, power outages, massive disruption in traffic and severe waterlogging in low-lying areas has increased significantly.

Apart from farmers, common travelers, people living near rivers and coastal areas have been asked to take special precautions. Apart from this, due to continuous torrential rains in the hilly states, the administration has also issued a warning of dangerous landslides and sudden rise in the water level of rivers.

It will rain heavily in these states of the country

According to IMD estimates, there is a possibility of very heavy to widespread rainfall in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Uttarakhand throughout the week. Apart from this, rain activities are also expected to intensify in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan from Monday itself, where heavy to very heavy rains can be seen at many places during this entire week.

Along with heavy rain, the Meteorological Department has warned of thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds in parts of Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. People have been given strict instructions not to go to open places even by mistake during bad weather and stay in safe places.

Monsoon will be seen in severe form in Eastern India also

In the coming days, tremendous action of monsoon can be seen in the states of Eastern India also. According to the IMD report, there is a strong possibility of widespread rainfall over Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand and Bihar.

Among all these states, the most aggressive period of rain can be seen in Odisha, where there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains and at some selected places on July 27. Apart from this, there may be heavy rain in Jharkhand also, while the intensity of rain is expected to increase in Bihar throughout the week.

In view of this, IMD has asked all concerned state governments and officials to be on full alert. The general public has been appealed to follow the official warnings of the Meteorological Department, avoid traveling out of homes unnecessarily during torrential rains and exercise utmost caution in sensitive areas prone to floods, waterlogging or landslides.
