What don’t we do to make our skin glowing? Everyone wants a clean, glowing face. Actress Kriti Sanon also follows a skin care routine to keep her skin hydrated. Kriti had shared a video on her YouTube channel in which she had told that the first thing she does after waking up in the morning is wash her hands and then drink hot water. So let us know in detail about some of the steps told by Kriti.

For cleansing the face, she drinks lukewarm water mixed with lemon. This helps in removing oil and dirt from the skin pores. When there is an early shoot, she applies detoxifying face pack. However, when the skin becomes sensitive during periods, she applies hydrating masks. The actress also uses under-eye patches containing green tea and caffeine. She applies these patches over her face mask and leaves them on for about 15 minutes before removing them.

After removing the mask and patches, Kriti sprays a homemade toner made of glycerin and rose water. He told that glycerin helps in maintaining moisture in the skin and it is known for its hydrating and soothing properties.

The next step is a serum that contains ingredients like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, alpha arbutin, kakadu plum extract, and aloe vera. According to Kriti, this combination helps in hydrating the skin and improving uneven pigmentation.

Instead of applying a separate moisturizer, Kriti chooses a sunscreen that also provides hydration to the skin. Emphasizing the importance of sun protection, he advised people to apply adequate amount of sunscreen and not neglect areas like the neck and eyelids.

The last step in her routine is a hydrating lip balm. Kriti said that she keeps it with her so that her lips remain moisturized throughout the day. The actor’s skincare routine focuses on hydration, sun protection and simple skincare essentials, making it easy to follow for those looking for a low-key beauty routine.
