Once again a major incident of rape has come to light in Jharkhand, where a young man under the influence of alcohol tried to forcibly rape a woman traveling in a train.According to the information, a disabled woman was traveling in Utkal Express train. Meanwhile, at midnight, the woman got up from her seat and went to the bathroom. Then an employee of the pantry car entered from behind and tried to rape the woman passenger. After receiving the complaint, the railway police arrested the accused when the train reached Chakradharpur railway station.
An incident of attempt to rape a disabled woman passenger by a young man working in the pantry car has come to light in the Utkal Express train going from Puri, Odisha to Yoganagari Rishikesh. On receiving the complaint about the incident, the Government Railway Police in Chakradharpur has arrested the accused youth. The 28-year-old victim woman was going from Odisha to Uttar Pradesh. During this time, between 2 to 3 am last night between Cuttack and Jajpur, a young man Ramjeet, a worker of the pantry car, tried to rape the woman in the bathroom of the train.
The youth traveling in the train saved the woman. According to the victim woman, the accused youth also forcibly had unnatural sex with her during this period. After hearing the noise from the bathroom, two youths traveling in the train saved the woman from the accused by opening the bathroom. After this, these youths informed the Government Railway Police about the matter when the train reached Chakradharpur. After which the Government Railway Police took immediate action and arrested the accused pantry car employee. Government Railway Police is taking further action in this matter.
