Sevilla have officially confirmed the signing of highly rated goalkeeper Fran Gonzalez from Real Madrid, with the youngster committing to a long-term contract until 2031. The 21-year-old keeper arrives at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan as part of a major squad revamp this summer.

Sevilla have acted swiftly to strengthen their goalkeeping unit by completing the permanent transfer of Gonzalez from Real Madrid.

The Leon-born goalkeeper has signed an important deal that will keep him at the club for the next five seasons, underlining Sevilla’s long-term belief in his potential. Gonzalez is already on his way to link up with his new team-mates, travelling to join the first-team squad at their pre-season training base in Garderen, Netherlands, as preparations continue for the upcoming La Liga season.

The agreement represents a strategic investment from Sevilla, who will pay an initial fee of €1 million plus performance-related variables in return for 50% of the player’s economic rights.
