The games will also begin Mauricio Pochettino’s new contract with the USMNT following its run to the World Cup round of 16.
ATLANTA — The U.S. men’s national team will launch its next World Cup cycle with four home friendlies against Peru, Chile, Mexico and Canada.
The matches will take place over 11 days in September and October and will represent the Americans’ first action since reaching the round of 16 at the World Cup.
Each game will be held in a U.S. city that did not host World Cup action during the summer.
The Americans will begin the series against Peru on Sept. 26 at Inter.co Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
Three days later, the U.S. will face Chile at Energizer Park in St. Louis.
Both games will provide the national team with experience against South American opposition early in the new cycle.
The rivalry between the United States and Mexico will resume on Oct. 3 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Mexico traditionally represents one of the United States’ most important and competitive opponents.
The four-match series will conclude three days later when the Americans host Canada at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota.
All four friendlies will be available across English- and Spanish-language platforms.
TNT, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo and Peacock will broadcast the games.
The matches will be the national team’s first since head coach Mauricio Pochettino agreed to a contract extension through 2030.
The four friendlies will begin preparations for the next men’s World Cup, scheduled to take place in Spain, Portugal and Morocco in 2030.
The United States enters the new cycle after reaching the round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup.
