UP Police Constable DV PST 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the admit cards today, August 10, 2026, for candidates appearing in the Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for direct recruitment to the posts of Constable (Civil Police) and equivalent positions. Shortlisted candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the board's official website, uppbpb.gov.in.

To download the admit card, candidates must enter their registration number and date of birth. For candidates who do not possess a copy of their original online application form, a link to download the form has also been made available on the website starting August 10.

Recruitment for 32,679 Posts
A total of 32,679 posts are to be filled through this recruitment drive. The written examination for these posts was conducted on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026. Subsequently, the results were declared on July 31, 2026. Successful candidates are now being called for Document Verification (DV) and the Physical Standard Test (PST). The DV and PST process will be conducted across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, primarily at the Reserve Police Lines.

Process Begins August 17; August 31 Set as Reserve Date
According to the board's schedule, the main phase of the DV and PST will take place from August 17, 2026, to August 31, 2026. During this period, candidates are required to report to their designated centers on the scheduled dates.

Based on the written examination, candidates numbering approximately 2.33 times the vacancies have been shortlisted for the next stage in accordance with merit and the state's reservation policy.

Admit cards and application forms available for download from August 10
Necessary links for candidates participating in the DV (Document Verification) and PST (Physical Standard Test) have been made available on the Board's official website starting August 10, 2026.
Candidates can download their admit cards by logging in using their registration number and date of birth.

If a candidate does not have a copy of their original online application form, a separate link for this purpose will also be provided on the Board's website. The application form can be downloaded via this link starting August 10. Therefore, candidates are advised to keep their admit cards and application forms ready in advance.

Which documents will be verified during the DV?
During document verification, the information provided by the candidate in the application and the documents uploaded online will be cross-checked against their original documents. Candidates must carry all original documents along with a self-attested photocopy of each. The district-level committee constituted for Document Verification (DV) will comprise the following officials:

Deputy Collector nominated by the District Magistrate – Chairperson
Officer of the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police or Deputy Superintendent of Police – Member
Gazetted officer from the Education Department (e.g., DIOS or BSA) – Member
Medical Officer – Member

If necessary, additional officers of the rank of Inspector or above may also be included in the committee to ensure representation from SC, ST, and OBC categories.

What happens if documents are not produced?
Candidates must possess valid documents in accordance with the prescribed standards. Failure to produce valid documents at the time of verification may result in the immediate cancellation of their candidature.

Furthermore, if any fraud or forged documents are detected, the candidate's candidature will be cancelled. Criminal proceedings may also be initiated in such cases.

PST to follow immediately after DV
Candidates who successfully clear the document verification process will immediately undergo the Physical Standard Test (PST). Separate physical standards have been prescribed for male and female candidates.

Height and Chest Standards for Male Candidates

A minimum chest expansion of 5 cm is mandatory for male candidates.

What happens if a candidate cannot appear on the scheduled date?
If a candidate is unable to appear on the scheduled date due to unforeseen circumstances (such as medical reasons), they must submit a representation to the Nodal Officer prior to the reserve date of August 31, 2026. After assessing the circumstances, the Nodal Officer may decide to schedule the candidate for an alternative date or the reserve day. However, if a candidate fails to appear even on the final reserved date—i.e., August 31—no further opportunity or chance to appeal will be granted thereafter.
