UPSSSC Vacancy: There is good news for young people preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced recruitment for 1,251 posts of Livestock Extension Officer in the state's Animal Husbandry Department. Applications must be submitted online via the UPSSSC website. The online application process for this recruitment will begin on September 9, 2026, and the deadline for applications is September 29, 2026.

According to the notification, candidates will be able to make corrections or amendments to their application forms until October 6. **Educational Qualification**
Candidates must possess the following qualifications for the post of Livestock Extension Officer:

**UPSSSC PET Scorecard:** Candidates must hold a scorecard from the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) conducted by the Commission. Candidates will be shortlisted for the main examination based on this PET score.

**Educational Qualification:** Applicants must have passed Class 12 with Biology or Agricultural Science, or hold a diploma in Animal Husbandry and Dairying.

**Age Limit**
To participate in this recruitment process, candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation in accordance with the rules.

**Application Fee is Only ₹25**
The application fee for this recruitment is just ₹25. The fee can be paid online.

**Main Examination Pattern**
Candidates shortlisted based on their PET scores will have to pass the main examination. The exam will consist of 100 questions and will have a duration of two hours. The questions will be of the objective, multiple-choice type. Each question will carry one mark. A penalty of 25% (one-fourth) of a mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
