We often choose natural ingredients for skin care. Making face packs at home is easy. For this, just take some multani mitti, gram flour, sandalwood powder or oats and prepare it by mixing rose water, curd or aloe vera in it. But the problem arises when the prepared face pack gets leftover.
Most of the people keep the leftover face pack in the refrigerator, but when it is taken out, it is spoiled. Let us know how to store homemade face pack properly.
If you want to make a face pack of dry ingredients like gram flour, multani mitti, sandalwood and oats, mix them well and keep them in a clean, dry and air-tight container. Make sure that moisture does not get into the box. Also, use a separate and dry spoon to take out the face pack.
Many people like to keep homemade face packs in the bathroom, but bathrooms tend to be humid and steamy. If the container is opened repeatedly, moisture may enter the dry face pack. Therefore, keep it in a cool and dry place, where there is no direct sunlight and excess moisture.
If you want to use a homemade face pack, avoid storing it wet. For example, if you have made a mixture of gram flour and multani mitti and added rose water to it, keeping it for a long time may spoil it. Therefore, maintain the dry mixture and make fresh packs as per requirement.
Be careful with face packs made from curd, milk or fresh fruits. If you have used half the pack and kept the rest in the fridge, it is not correct. It is better to make such face packs only in quantity as required, as the risk of them getting spoiled is high.
