UP Board Exam 2027: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the schedule for the online selection of examination centers for the High School and Intermediate examinations of 2027. The online process for selecting examination centers will run from August 24 to October 29, 2026.

According to the board, the objective of this process is to maintain the integrity, sanctity, quality, and reliability of the 2027 board examinations. To achieve this, details regarding the facilities and infrastructure of schools will be recorded online and subsequently verified.

What must schools do by August 24?
School principals are required to upload information regarding the infrastructure and facilities available at their schools to the council's official website, upmsp.edu.in.

The deadline for this is August 24, 2026. Following this, the process of physically verifying the uploaded information and documents will commence.

By when will the school information be verified?
Tehsil-level committees constituted by District Magistrates will conduct a physical verification of the documents and information uploaded by the schools. The deadline for completing this verification is September 3, 2026.

Subsequently, it will be the responsibility of the District Inspectors of Schools (DIOS) to upload the verification reports—including the observations made by the tehsil-level committees—online. The deadline for uploading these reports is September 12, 2026.

When will the initial list of examination centers be released?
A provisional list will be prepared following the selection of examination centers; this list will also include the allocation of students to specific centers. This list will be presented for public review before the District Center Determination Committees on September 21, 2026.

Following this, a list will be released identifying schools ineligible to serve as examination centers, as well as schools facing proceedings for the revocation of their recognition. This list will be displayed on the board's website and the District Inspector of Schools' portal on September 23, 2026.

How can students and parents raise objections regarding examination centers?
The District Inspector of Schools will publish the list of examination centers in newspapers on September 28, 2026. Subsequently, students, parents, principals, and school administrators will be able to raise objections regarding the list of examination centers. Objections can be submitted online via the board's portal.

District Inspectors of Schools (DIOS) are required to examine the objections received. Objections found to be valid must be forwarded to the Council along with the recommendations of the District Center Determination Committee. This process must be completed by October 8, 2026.
