Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Tottenham, with Spurs currently in a major phase of their transfer business after reaching an agreement in principle with Manchester City to sign Savinho.

The transfer fee is set to be above £80m, working out at around £85m once add-ons are included. Everything has been agreed for Savinho, while the player has had an agreement in place with Tottenham for quite some time. He wanted the transfer.

That means Roberto De Zerbi’s leading target for the right-wing role is on the way. It should also be noted that Tottenham are pursuing Omar Marmoush of Manchester City as well. Talks between the two clubs are at an advanced stage.

They are two separate operations, but a move for Marmoush is also expected to go through, with discussions still active and continuing. As mentioned, there is already an agreement with the player himself.

Tottenham are therefore pushing strongly once again in the market after already completing deals for Sandro Tonali from Newcastle and Mateus Fernandes from West Ham to strengthen midfield.

At present, it appears Tottenham Hotspur could add both Marmoush and Savinho in attack as a fresh double signing.
