Corn Paratha Recipe: As soon as the rainy season arrives, the taste of corn starts tempting everyone. Sometimes hot roasted corn, sometimes corn chaat and pakodas… but if you want to include corn in your breakfast in a different and tasty way, then definitely try Corn Paratha. Crisp and spicy Corn Paratha not only tastes great, but it can also be easily prepared for morning breakfast or children’s tiffin. Fresh corn is easily available during monsoon and many dishes made from it become people’s favorite.

Many nutrients including fiber are found in corn, which can become a part of a balanced diet. The special thing is that making Corn Paratha does not require much effort. Delicious parathas can be prepared by mixing boiled corn with some spices and flour. So if you are bored of eating potato or paneer paratha every day, then this monsoon try making corn paratha which can be made in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients to make Corn Paratha

Boiled corn – 1 cup
Flour – 1 cup
Onion – 1
Gram flour – 2 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Green chilli paste – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Green coriander chopped – 2-3 tbsp
Oil – as per requirement
Salt – as per taste

How to make Corn Paratha

step 1- To make Corn Paratha, first boil the corn and take out its grains in a bowl. After this, put them in the mixer and grind them coarsely. Now chop the onion finely. Put flour in a plate, add a little salt to it and knead the paratha dough by adding water little by little.

Step 2- Now put some oil in a pan and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin and gram flour and fry. After frying them for some time, add finely chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Step 3- When the onions become soft and light brown, add coarsely ground corn, red chili powder, green coriander leaves and turmeric, mix well and cover and let it cook for 4-5 minutes more. After this turn off the gas. The stuffing for paratha is ready.

Step 4- Now take a nonstick pan/kadai and heat it on medium flame. Pour some oil on it and spread it all around. Meanwhile, make balls of the dough and take one ball and roll it. After this, place the prepared stuffing masala in the middle and press it tightly from all sides and roll it into a circular or triangular shape.

Step 5- After this, put the paratha on the pan and cook it till it becomes golden from both the sides. After this, take it out in a plate. Prepare all the parathas in the same manner. Tasty and healthy Corn Parathas are ready for breakfast. Serve it with green chutney or curd.
