What salary will selected candidates receive?
Candidates selected for the post of Local Bank Officer will be appointed under the JMGS-1 scale. The salary for this post ranges from ₹48,480 to ₹85,920. Candidates appointed through this recruitment must fulfill the conditions of a ₹2 lakh financial service indemnity bond and serve the bank for a minimum of three years. Additionally, candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹850, while SC, ST, and PwBD candidates must pay a fee of ₹150. The fee must be paid online.
How will the selection take place?
Candidates for the IOB LBO recruitment will be selected through a multi-stage process. This includes an online examination, a local language proficiency test (where applicable), a personal interview, document verification, and a medical examination. The online examination covers subjects such as Reasoning and Computer Aptitude; General, Economic, and Banking Awareness; Data Analysis and Interpretation; and English Language. Candidates who have proof of having studied the relevant local language in their Class 10 or Class 12 marksheets will be exempted from the local language proficiency test.
