Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu apparently responded to Kangana Ranaut’s latest jibe, in which the actress accused her of being a “cheap copy.” Taapsee later shared a cryptic post on social media, which appeared to be a subtle response to the ongoing controversy and Kangana’s remarks. Bollywood actresses Kangana Ranaut and Taapsee Pannu have been involved in a long-running war of words, with their heated exchanges frequently making headlines. The feud began after Kangana’s sister, Rangoli Chandel, called the Pink actress a “sasti copy” of Kangana.
Recently, when Taapsee was asked whether she had buried the hatchet, she responded with a comment about “upbringing.” The controversy resurfaced after Kangana addressed the remark in an Instagram Story. Without naming Taapsee, she criticised her for bringing her parents into their feud and repeated the “cheap copy” jibe. Now, the Haseen Dillruba actress has seemingly responded to Kangana’s latest comments with a cryptic two-word post, adding another twist to their already renewed public rift and escalating tensions even further.
Without directly responding to Kangana Ranaut’s latest dig, Taapsee Pannu shared a cryptic message on her Instagram Story, which appeared to subtly address the ongoing controversy. “Hence, proved.”

With this, Taapsee appears to be standing by her recent remarks about Kangana. In an interview, she said her perception of Kangana was influenced by her upbringing, communication style and worldview, while Kangana’s opinion of her was similarly shaped by her own experiences, background and perspective. “I think that’s enough for everybody to look and decide who comes from where,” the slapped actress told India Today.
In a post that has since been deleted, Kangana wrote, “One Sasti copy is out and about with her upcoming B grade film but as usual only headline point with the media is Kangana Ranaut, but today she crossed all limits shamelessly ridiculing my upbringing/parents, I think all parents do their best and I never bring any parents in to any argument, but today I also want to ask her parents why they couldn’t birth someone original like my parents did? Why a cheap Sasti copy? Feel sorry for your efforts.”

She also shared a screenshot of a news report, highlighting the word “upbringing” in its headline. Calling the situation unfortunate and unjust, she said the person involved was not the only one to question her upbringing. The Queen actor claimed that several people had questioned her upbringing while attempting to malign her parents and family background.
She stated that her parents belonged to a renowned Rajput zamindar family and had been raised by educated, distinguished parents. Kangana added that choosing to start from scratch in Bollywood had been her personal decision. She then questioned why her parents were being targeted for a choice she had made independently.
