Sony Xperia 10 VIII — A big leak has emerged regarding Sony Xperia 10 VIII before its launch. The rear design of the phone has been seen in the new promotional picture. According to the picture, the new Xperia 10 VIII looks very similar to the previous model Xperia 10 VII. Sony has scheduled the Xperia product announcement event on August 25, 2026, and the new smartphone is expected to be unveiled at the same event.
In the picture, a flat design is visible on the back of the phone and a horizontal camera bar is visible on the top. Two camera sensors and LED flash are visible in it. Sony branding is also given near the camera module. Overall the layout of the rear panel looks similar to the Xperia 10 VII.
However, a change in color may be seen. In the leaked image, the phone appears to be white in color, but it appears to have a light green or mint tint. This may differ from the traditional white finish of the Xperia 10 VII.
The Xperia 10 VIII was recently spotted in the Geekbench database with model number XQ-GH54. In the listing, the phone achieved a score of 871 single-core and 3,028 multi-core on Geekbench 7.0. It features Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and 8GB RAM.
The special thing is that Xperia 10 VII also had the configuration of Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and 8GB RAM. In such a situation, if the leak proves to be true, there will be no major changes in the new generation at the processor level. The Geekbench listing also points towards Android 16.
The camera and battery specifications of the Xperia 10 VIII have not been officially revealed yet. Therefore, any claim regarding these cannot be considered as confirmed information at present.
For comparison, the Xperia 10 VII had a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera. The phone also had a 6.1-inch 120Hz Full HD+ OLED display and a 5,000mAh battery. Whether these features will be retained or upgraded in Xperia 10 VIII will be known only after Sony's official launch.

However, the picture of change in camera, display, battery, software support and price will be clear only after the official launch.
