Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has said that the Mahayuti government is working by giving priority to the interests of farmers, women, youth and common people of the state. He said that the interest of farmers is most important for the government.

In such a situation, the government is working towards gradually waiving off the loans of those farmers whose loans they had promised to complete in a phased manner. Deputy Chief Minister Shinde said these things while talking to journalists in Mumbai.

Talking to journalists, he informed that the amount of the second installment of loan waiver was deposited in the accounts of farmers on Monday. Earlier, Rs 5,000 crore was deposited in the accounts of more than six lakh farmers. In this way, till now a total amount of Rs 10 thousand crore has been deposited in the accounts of farmers.

He further informed that under the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, money is also being deposited in the accounts of women as per the stipulated time. The next installment of this scheme will also be deposited in the accounts of eligible women on time. Since the launch of Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, work is being done to provide financial support to women. He assured that no matter how many efforts are made, this scheme will never stop.

Chief Minister Shinde said that the hands of the youth should get work, for which it is necessary to provide education, employment and necessary facilities to the youth. During the tenure of the Mahayuti government, efforts are being made to provide work to the youth through various means, from startup to skill development and from employment to industry-entrepreneurship.

The country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi also sees India as a country of youth, hence the Central Government has taken many important decisions for the youth of the country. The state government has also laid emphasis on providing opportunities to the youth through employment, skill development and industries.

Taking a dig at the opposition, Shinde said, “Instead of doing politics on youth issues, those who have been rejected by the public just by giving false assurances should see what work Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done for the youth of the country. 140 crore people and youth of the country are with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

He clarified that Narendra Modi's popularity in the country and across the world continues to be a pain in the stomach for his opponents. For this reason, the youth are being employed to make their political gains by placing guns on their shoulders, but no matter how much politics is done, the youth of the country knows Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is accepting his work.

Shinde said, “This is Modi's government which provides food, clothing, shelter and employment. Along with this, the state government of Mahayuti is also working at various levels to provide employment and jobs to lakhs of people. The government is trying to put the youth on their feet through industries, startups, skill development and employment generation.”

Shinde said that the government is also positively discussing the issues of Manoj Jarange-Patil. Mahayuti ministers have gone to meet him. Talks are going on to get information about their issues and understand the problems. We are confident that some way will emerge from this discussion.

Shinde said that lakhs of Ganesh devotees go to Konkan for Ganeshotsav. Appropriate steps are being taken to welcome these Ganesh devotees and provide necessary facilities for their journey. The initiative to provide free facilities to Ganesh devotees through ST Mahamandal (MSRTC) has been running for the last several years. Ganeshotsav is a festival of faith and sentiments of Ganesha devotees and the government's emphasis is on creating necessary facilities and conducive environment to welcome him. Banners have also been put up to welcome Ganesh devotees.

Shinde said that even if an attempt is made to weaken the role of Hindutva or take a different line in the context of the procession, we will continue to move forward remembering the thoughts and teachings of late Balasaheb Thackeray and late Anand Dighe Saheb. It is our role to maintain respect for Ganeshotsav, Ganesha devotees and traditions to Hindu culture.
