Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Naveen on Monday strongly attacked the opposition parties for working with divisive thinking in the society and insulting 'Vande Mataram'. Regarding the insult to 'Vande Mataram', he said that the people of the country will work to change the thinking of such people. After his statement, the discussion regarding national anthem, patriotism and respect has once again intensified in political circles.
President Nitin Naveen said that 'Vande Mataram' is not just a few words but is associated with India's freedom struggle and the spirit of patriotism. Taking aim at those who make objectionable remarks or insult him regarding this, he said that the public will not accept such views. He also appealed to the people to respect the national symbols and sentiments of the country.
Referring to the national song 'Vande Mataram', the BJP President said, 'Vande Mataram, which laid the foundation of India's freedom struggle and which became a patriotic song for our martyrs and freedom fighters, is still being insulted by some people in this country, but I want to tell them that the soil of this country has such power that if the thinking of people like Lodi and Sikandar can change, then in the times to come, the power of the soil of India will also change the thinking of those who sang Vande Mataram. Have insulted.
Taking a direct aim at the previous Congress governments, Nitin Naveen said that in the past, attempts have been made to distribute the country's resources on religious and social basis. He said, 'But Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear that the first right on the country's resources belongs to the poor of this country due to whose blessings this government has come to power. Government schemes are made keeping in mind the last man of the society, in which there is no discrimination on the basis of caste, community or identity. The Prime Minister says that development schemes should reach the last man of the society. When he entered the Parliament of democracy with his head bowed, he said in his very first speech that his government would be for the poor and would be dedicated to the poor.
Nitin Naveen said that BJP has started 'Samarasata Sankalp Abhiyan' based on the ideas of social harmony of Sant Ravidas ji. He said, 'At a time when our society was surrounded by deep social inequalities and many social evils. Then the thoughts and efforts of Saint Ravidas dealt a severe blow to these evils and laid the foundation of social harmony across the country. Ravidas's thoughts and his struggle played a very important role in protecting Indian society and Sanatan traditions during the period of foreign invasions and large-scale religious conversion.
